The Fertilizer Trade Africa, 2011 will be held in Nairobi, Kenya from 24th to 25th November, 2011 at the 5-star Fairmont, The Norfolk Hotel.
The Fertilizer Trade Africa 2011 is a Forum for producers, traders, importers and financiers in the fertilizer sub-sector to interact and exchange views and network. The forum to be held for two days i.e. 24th / 25th November, 2011will and will provide an opportunity for the fertilizer trade in sub-Saharan Africa to network and establish new business contracts while strengthening existing business relationships . The delegates will intract through the formal conference sessions and an exhibition to be held at the same venue. There will also be social networking cocktails on the first and last day of the event. The fertilizer sub-sector in Africa has been recognized as an important catalyst for the "green revolution" in Africa. The sector is currently experiencing emerging challenges and opportunities. Some of these include the high international/local fertilizer prices, fertilizer price fluctuations, the continued subsidy on farm inputs to targeted resource poor and vulnerable small scale farmers, the emerging Private-Public Partnership in credit and local / international supply chain constrains and insurance provision in the promotion of farm inputs.
The purpose of Fertilizer Trade Africa 2011 is to provide a platform for senior executives from fertilizer producing companies, exporters, importers, traders, shipping lines, terminal and storage facility operators, banks and finance houses, government officials, large agri-businesses to meet in one place to enhance existing business relationships while establishing new contacts in the region. Fertilizer Trade Africa 2011 is also an ideal forum for fertilizer handling / blending equipment suppliers to showcase products and solutions to existing and potential clients. Fertilizer Trade Africa 2011 is being held in Nairobi, Kenya - in Eastern Africa, a region which is dependant on fertilizer imports due to the fact that there is no significant local production to meet demand.

The cost of an exhibition booth
There are only eight (8) exhibition booths available on first come, first serve basis.
The exhibition package includes floor space 3mx3m with schell scheme, facia board, table, two chairs plus 1 free delegate registration.
The cost of a 3mx3m exhibition booth is as follows:
- Early bird rate: US$3,200 (before 31st August, 2011)
- Standard rate: US$3,500 (after 31st August, 2011)
